Problem Description

Packet loss can cause a variety of problems with IP Video systems. Potential areas in which packet loss can occur include:

• Home Network
• DSL Errors
• LAN interconnect problems
• Video smoothing

Symptoms

Mild to severe blockiness in video sequence, frame freezes or gaps in playout.
