Gaps in Playout due to Frame Degradation
Problem Description
Video decoders may handle severe image degradation by either "freezing" the image or by presenting a neutral color blank image. Periods of severe degradation may therefore appear as gaps in playout.
Symptoms
This type of problem is caused by periods of high packet loss that are impacting I frames.
